How to Play Phrazle

Ready to become a Phrazle champion? It’s super easy to get started. Here’s a quick guide on how to play your very first game.

1. See Your Puzzle

When you start a new game, you’ll see a blank puzzle. This is your secret phrase! Below, you’ll have a keyboard to type your guesses. Your goal is to figure out the whole phrase, one letter at a time.

2. Make Your Guess

Type in a phrase you think might be the answer and press enter. Don’t worry if you don’t get it right on the first try—that’s part of the fun! You have a few chances to get it right.

3. Look at the Clues

After you guess, the game will give you clues! The colours of the tiles will change. Some letters might turn green, meaning they’re in the right spot. Others might turn yellow, meaning the letter is in the phrase but in a different spot. And some might stay grey, meaning they’re not in the phrase at all. Use these clues to make your next guess even better!

4. Solve and Celebrate!

Keep using the clues to get closer and closer to the answer. When you figure it out, the puzzle will light up, and you’ll get to celebrate! You did it! You’ve solved a Phrazle. Now you’re ready for the next one.
